Start8 is a free tool that lets you to get back the start button and menu in Windows 8.
How To Use:
Just install the tool and it will add a start button in the taskbar. If you click it, it will show you the metro search in a small region:
To access its options, just right-click the start button:
If you want to remove the start button and menu, simply uninstall the app.
